What happened to our long long thread?
Yay for the refuge is still open! I hope you got your meds
Hi Pink!! How are you and the family holding up?
I have not heard from TheJan.
Good Afternoon! Things are crazy here! MedPinks wedding date has now been moved 2xs and I'm thinking won't happen this year. I should qualify that - she is getting married on May 15th. They are going to elope on a mountain top which is WAY more like her. They had to change the wedding to a "Blessing of the Marriage" and the reception 2xs. LilPinks college graduation was suppose to be May 2nd, but now they have delayed it to Aug 29th. I'm thinking that it will also just be cancelled. The good news is that they both have full time jobs and are working from home. Michigan still does NOT have any TP
OH, my, Pink, what a ride!
The mountain elopement sounds romantic. Sorry she/you have had to change things twice.
Many college graduations seem to have been cancelled altogether. Hope LilPink does get a college graduation~
Both my girls are working from home. Lizzy, the web developer, works for a college and it is mostly work as usual for her.
RJ is a paralegal, and it is a little harder to get the work. Fewer clients coming in and harder to pass the work around on the computer. She has lots of scanning/closing files she is doing from home ~ stuff that's sat around forever until it could be gotten around to....but that won't last forever....
Luckily we had lots of TP before it became scarce....For some reason it just seemed like a good idea to have some in my "stash". We haven't been to the store in 2 weeks. At that time, WalMart DID have some, but it was only the 4pack and people were allowed only one. Hubby bought one just in case....
I'm more worried about running out of paper towels. We use lots of them because of family allergies and gluten intolerance and no dishwasher, so we run thru them like water in the kitchen...... Otherwise, we should be good with groceries until the end of the month.
Our idiot governor has extended the lockdown until June 10....... GRRRRR........
oh dear, pink, this is an unfortunate time to try to have a wedding! and graduations everywhere seem to be getting canceled.
wrt tp, the last time i was in my favorite natural food store, all they had was a little sign on the empty tp shelves that said, "we are trying!"
well, i took my first dose of my new med this morning and i think it's making a difference. it's one of those meds that goes to work right away. no side effects, no conflicts with my other medications (so far). i don't have to take it on an empty stomach, either, which is nice.

TP is very scarce around here too. We have found a couple of 4 roll packs and have grabbed them up. We are good for now, but seems silly to be concerned about getting it. Going down the paper product isles in any grocery stores are empty here, including paper towels.
Pink, I LOVE the eloping part!! Sounds very cool. Such a shame about the reception and graduation though. but we have to make the best of all of it.
Sunshine, glad the girls can continue to work for now. Such scary times with all of the unemployment. Makes me sad.
Sierra, that is great news about the medicine. I hope it continues to work and is good for you!!!
XXXX to all

Good morning,
Sierra, how are you feeling after a few days of the new meds?
I have to agree, the partial teeth were a bit odd to see on a trail. Love the pictures!!!
i *think* the new med is helping, but it's hard to say.
i was on the med briefly many years ago but couldn't afford to stay on it. i found a way to afford it now, but it's the generic version, and last time it was the name-brand. this generic doesn't seem to help as much as i remember the name-brand helping. i can barely afford the generic, so i don't think i could switch to the name-brand (which is like $1000 a month!!).
at least there's no side effects, so that's good.
well, i didn't have to call the police about the construction site, because they actually shut down for the rest of shelter in place. the site was dead as a doornail today, and i loved the peace and quiet. no noisy machines! and no workers without masks violating social distancing rules either.

Wow, that is some expensive meds. I hope the generic brand will keep working for you!!!
Awesome pictures!!! That is a pretty long snake!! Yikes!
Yay for the site being shut down!!!
that snake wasn't even full-grown! it was about half the length of a fully-grown gopher snake. it's not a venomous species, thankfully, or i wouldn't have gotten so close to it.
