What happened to our long long thread?

thanks, inky. dh is feeling a little better today.  he came back home after a half day at the studio, though. but he plans on working a full day tomorrow.

i still have a sore throat, my sinuses feel raw, and i'm coughing. i have a very slight fever too.

we were very confused with the new forums too, if that's any consolation.

disclaimer: i use a laptop, not a mobile device, so i don't know how the layout differs on those.

but on my laptop there appears to be 2 ways to reply -- to someone's specific post (the "reply" box under their post), and to the thread itself (the lowest "reply" box on the page).  i always use the reply to thread one, otherwise no one will see replies to earlier posts unless they go back upthread to look for them.

hope that makes sense!

oh, also, i don't know what goes on in any other threads anymore; i only come to this one to chat with y'all, and i bookmark this thread so i don't lose it.

Yes, Rhody, the new forums are ridiculous!!  I saw your post on this page.  I too, go to the bottom of the page to reply.  That way it is a new post and not just an add on to what someone else posted.

I get an email when someone post in this thread. I click on it and I guess it takes me to the thread. I went to the bottom and don’t see any place where it says reply. What am I doing wrong??

hi peeps! i've been very sick -- too sick to keep up my blog or to post here.

i think it was just the flu, but my doctor didn't test me for flu or for covid-19, so who knows. i was extremely weak, non-functional and sick for 2 weeks.  (my doc said if i had been able to be seen by her a day earlier she would have sent me to the emergency room.)  i am getting better now, thankfully.

i missed everyone here. thank you for holding down the fort, inky!

i'm still very tired. being sick really took a lot out of me. but i'm glad i'm better enough to come back to the forums.

although etsy is now making me sign back in again, after letting me be automatically logged in before. sigh.
