Pinterest and Shop app on facebook

I just joined the group and wanted to throw out two ideas. My shop has only been open a little over a week and I have made 2 sales, which I am pretty happy about. Although of course 10 would have been nice (wishful thinking). Anyway I did a pin on pinterest.com not sure if it will be fruitful or not. I also suggest you get a "shop" app on your facebook account so people can see your items and prices from facebook. Anyway I thought I would throw those out there, not sure if someone has already mentioned them but want to give what advice I have, which isnt much so far since I am still new to this.

I have added the shop app on facebook as well. I also created a spinoff page just for my shop, Thompson's Treasures. That way I can have the app on my regular personal page and my shop page. On the app it offers you the option to promote your items by giving coupons(free less the price reduction of the item) and by featuring 5 items you select across 13,000 Etsy fb pages($4). You get billed at the end of the month on your regular Esty account. I have set up 2 days worth of the $4 extra promos. So add selected some of my higher end items and some of my really good deals. I figure If I can even get some people to save or like my page so they start coming back to check it out again it was worth the $8 bucks. But I'm really not familiar with pinintrest...can you elaborate...I've been blessed with some artistic skill and all...but unfortunately, advertising is a learn as you go process for me...LOL. I will definately go and like your page and be happy to share any ideas and tips I have. And I would love it if you would do the same.

How do you add a shop app to Facebook? I tried looking around for one but couldn't find one that would let me add Etsy to my Facebook... only ones that would open a new, separate store.

Jessica- You can go straight thru Etsy. Go to Apps>tools for sellers. There are few different store front apps to choose from. I use 'Etsy Theme Shop'. Then just follow the prompts.

Just added the shop onto my Facebook page... it's fabulous! Great advice!!
