Hi guys, I've been on Etsy since 2006 and sell art and hats. I'm in the Jenny Valdez Gallery inside the Arts Factory and also am making hats like crazy for the fall and winter season!

I usually spend my FFs near Blackbird Studios off Commerce- just a scenery-filled few-block walk from you!

I must ask- how are you able to keep your hat prices so low for the time that goes into making them? It seems as though you're cranking a new one out daily :P Congrats on your sales!

Hey everyone, I'm Cassie and I've been sewing and creating treasures for about eight years. I sell handmade sewn creations (shirts, messenger bags, phone/camera cases. I like to shop for anything and everything! I love to sew and create art. I love making purses and bags of different shapes, textures and patterns. I used to sell every First Friday but have not gotten around to it lately. I love First Friday and the whole creative atmosphere!

Hi everybody!

My name is Marni, my shop is a vintage shop, but I also crochet and make jewelry. I had originally planned on having a booth for FF, but I haven't been able to look into it further; my schedule has been filling up with working on shows here and there (I'm a stage manager). Some day, however, I'll be hawking my wares downtown! It would be nice to be able to do that for a living, but I'll take anything I can get for now.

I just opened my Etsy shop a few weeks ago. I've had a couple of sales, but not much activity for a week. I hope that I'll eventually have enough listings that and inventory that I can have a steady business. That would be nice.

Do any of you ever meet anywhere? I am sometimes down at the Beat Coffee House. I also go to the Downtown Bar occasionally (great nuts--sound weird, I know), and other clubs on Fremont.

Hey Everyone! I am a new seller and am opening my shop in September. My specialty is handmade Cross Stitch art, jewelry, & accessories. I enjoy the Las Vegas Arts District and have been to First Fridays. I've only lived in vegas for about 5 months, so I'd love to get more involved in the arts/indie/handmade scene.

My name is April and i have been creating art for most of my life and it is my passion. I have been participating in First Friday since it's humble beginnings but have not been there since it changed hands with Zappo's. I am very excited to be a part of this team since we are all connected with First Friday and locals. Does anyone by any chance know what comes with the fee to become a vendor. I know it comes with a 10x10 tent but was wondering if it comes with tables, chairs, art display grids and lights. And if so, does anyone know how many? Also, are we going to be doing any team promoting or activities such as BNR's or BNS's or are we already doing that? Hello, my name is Michelle. I am a Vegas local and I just opened my new shop today. :D I have been sewing for a while, just as a hobby. I figured since I have all these little creations lying around, why not share them with the world? So here I am. :3

My favorite things to buy are Arts & Craft supplies, Kawaii, or Vintage Housewares.

My interests and hobbies are Reading, Writing, Crafts, Cooking, Farmers Markets, Nutritional Health, Collecting obscure Music, Hiking in the Mountains, BBQs, Picnics, Watching movies, etc.

My favorite types of art is low-brow surrealism and Kawaii. I love anything cute, kitschy, and weird.

I am more of a fan of FF than anything. However, my goal for next year is to create enough products and eventually rent a booth. So perhaps I will be seeing all of you soon!

I'm back in Vegas, having just spent a couple of weeks in SF. It was weird leaving 52 degree weather in the afternoon, only to arrive home to 97 degree weather. Ick.

Did anyone go to FF this month? I should be around for October's, but I'd like to hear how September's went.

Hi there-

We sell hair bows, pet bow ties, jewelry and some bags on our Etsy site- all handmade by us! I also an interested in graphic design as I've done it throughout college.

Right now, just a fan of First Friday as I recently moved back and discovered it, but I've love to learn more about it from a seller's perspective. I have only gone once - plan to go this Friday - but I'm wondering if the booths are expensive or if sellers have really seen an interest / return on bring their products to First Friday.

I make and sell handmade jewelry, and will be adding needlecraft wall art.

What are your creative interests/hobbies? I love making jewelry and doing cross-stitch and needlepoint (and other needlework). I also enjoy the outdoors, though here in Vegas I find it a little harder than going for a hike back home. I also love to write poetry and short stories. I am also working on self-teaching myself photography.

What are your favorite type(s) of art/crafts/creative products in general?

I love all arts...but my favorites are handcrafted items, photography, paintings, and anything that has to do with nature.

How are you involved in First Friday events? (Or are you just a fan?)

I have been in Vegas now for 4 years, and just a few weeks ago learned about First Friday. Right now I am just a learning about it, so I would have to say I am a newbie fan.

My name is Danielle and I have been an Artist my Whole life, I do a little bit of everything like Sculpting paper Mache/ Polymer Clay, Painting, Drawing, I sew and Crochet. Hi all!

I've been living in Vegas for a couple years now. I'm originally from the Midwest, but I've lived, traveled all over the US.

My main passion is making digitally created abstract artwork. Mainly fractal designs and 3D digital stuff. I've studied just about any form of art you can think of. Sculpture, photography, woodworking, printmaking, glass blowing...I don't think I can name them all.

Although I love to make abstract digital artwork, here on Etsy I have for sale some of my chainmaille jewelry. The jewelry is really just a hobby for now, but I'd like to build it to make a full-time income with it and my art.

I'm still trying to find the time to put together a booth for FF. I've been down there a few times and really think it's great seeing all the local artists there.
