Getting Ready for the Holidays!

Everyone ready for the holiday rush?

How are you preparing?

Please share pointers and any helpful ideas you'd like.


For me, I try to keep a stock of items already made up so I'm not always making my items right after they are purchased. I keep a large stock of bubble envelope on hand and I purchased extra tape to avoid not having it when I need it most.

I haven't sold much from this new shop but I do have an annual craft/vendor fair I attend and I have been told it's the first Saturday of December this year so I'm putty some hustle in my bustle trying to get new items made! For me it's about making sure I'm stocked on materials and knowing that I order mine [from other Etsy shops of course!] I know it takes a week to get here normally so I order ahead of time. I also make sure I'm updating tags on my items [like adding in holiday or occasion tags when appropriate like 'Christmas gift' etc] and also having sales, making coupon codes known and as always promoting on teams :)

I hadn't even considered changing my tags to include things like Christmas gift and whatnot so thanks for that tip, Hayley!

I actually feel sort of panicked because I'm not ready for the holidays at all! Haha. This week I plan to stock up on all of my supplies but especially those that have sold the best for me.

I'm also thinking about doing free shipping or some sort of coupon code for cyber Monday or something along those lines!
