Hi Paulinet
Welcome to the team!
Social Media can be daunting for everyone. At the outset it seems very easy but its only when we get to it, do we realize how complicated it can be. Good you started with Facebook. There are tons of help articles and videos that practically guide you through the process.
1. Etsy Store on Facebook:
-As per Facebook's policies, an app to import the Etsy store can be applied only to a Facebook business page. So although you signed in from your personal account, the app is applied to your business page. Your personal page and business page are distinct.
-No, if you post anything on your shop, it will not get posted on your business page. Both of them are completely separate.
2. Like minded people on Facebook:
-To find like minded people on Facebook, you can simply type the skill/interest in the search bar on Facebook and groups/people with those interest/skills will show up.
-For eg. if you want to find people who are interested in paper craft, you can simply type 'paper craft' and anyone or any group with those keywords will show up in the result. If a group show's up in the result then you can also see who all have liked that particular group. These will most probably be your target audience.
3. Facebook Tips:
-To get success for your business on Facebook, remember that engaging with your audience is the key. Its good to promote your products, product sales, new products etc. every once in a while but that should just be 20% of your posts. Keep in mind the 80-20 rule. 80% of your content should be something that your audience would like to read about. Here is a link to our blog on Facebook posts:

-The time of your posts also plays a crucial role in deciding the engagement that you get. There is no universal good time. You can experiment with different time and see what works best for your page. You can use ‘Facebook insights’ to assess which strategy is working best for you. Be confident and experiment with different strategies till the time you come up with something that suits your products.
4. Blog:
-Facebook:You can create notes on Facebook business and personal page and share them with your fans or with a select group of people. Notes work almost like a blog as in you can attach images, format the content, add tags & titles. The only disadvantage is that only people who have liked your page can see the note.
-Etsy: I don't think you can post a blog on Etsy without being invited to write one.
- A good idea would be to start your own blog and then share link on Etsy forums, Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest. This will give your more freedom with respect to content and platform.
Hope this has helped you. Look forward to hearing your success story.
Happy Selling!
Regards
