Tips on FB giveaway

Hi everyone : )

Like I've mentioned a bit earlier, I'm running my very first FB giveaway and so far, I have a very low rate of participation. I've promoted my giveaway on my blog and twitter. It has been 24h so maybe I'm a bit impatient too lol.
I was wondering if you guys could take a look and tell me what I could improve? I know I still have to put up my Etsy shop on FB, but beside that?

Maxine, I noticed that you have very few like son your FB page so far. Do you have a big audience on Twitter / your blog? If not, your problem could simply be that not enough people are even getting to see your giveaway.

Are there any other channels on which you can promote your giveaway - Pinterest, tumblr, existing customers (though be careful not to spam them) or even craft fairs etc?

I've opened up my FB page 2 days ago. I have 96 blog followers and over 600 twitter followers. I posted on FB, twitter and my blog about my new FB page, I have no idea why my response rate is so low… :S

I wanted to have a giveaway to help start my FB page but maybe it was too soon?
