Pinterest question

When someone re-pins one of our pins or in some other way 'favorites' it, should we respond in kind?
I mean: Should we go to their site and find something to pin to one of our boards? I have quite a number of boards set up with Pinterest.

I don't. Unless someone favorites one of my boards that's related to my business, I don't even look at their Pinterest account. If they do favorite one of my business boards, that usually means we have something in common, so I will at least glance at their boards ... and often I do find things that I want to re-pin!

I don't either. I think it is sort of creepy (like stalking). People pin things for a variety of reasons. Just be happy they like your pin and leave it at that.

(While I have a business page, I'm not a big pinterest user so I'm no expert!)

Do any of you remember when Pinterest used to print the price in the corner of your Etsy shop items? I realized that it had gone away but did not realize that if you now add the price to your description you are more likely to get action. Need to up my game here.

Debra, I think what you're taking about is 'rich pins'. They include basic information about your product on your pin itself.

All pins directly from Etsy should now be rich pins automatically.

I'll compile a cheat sheet on rich ins and post it in the team in a couple of days.
