Newbie with Pinterest Question

Hi all! What a fantastic idea for a team. I created my own board on Pinterest and have begun posting item there. I have also included descriptions about eachthat closely resemble m Etsy desciptions, especially when an item is customizable. But now Im second-guessing myself and wonder if it is proper Pinterest protocol to just post image without any description.
What do u all think?

Adding a description is definitely a good idea. In fact, make sure that any keywords that you want your products to be associated with are included in your description. This will help you be found in Pinterest search for these keywords.
