What is your favorite thing in your stash and why?

I just found a really soft cotton knit in the most obscenely bright floral pattern on a black background. I think it might be illegal in Alabama. Anyway. I love it. Not sure why as I never wear anything brighter than gray.

So what's yours?

Illegal in Alabama....too funny.
Sometimes the strangest patterns catch my eye too.

But I must say my favorite item in my stash is
this white linen, with a perfect weave. I've had
it for awhile now and haven't decided what to do with it yet.

Ok- well a collection of Debbie Mumm prints of Bees and Beehives etc-I have been saying for ages that I want to make me something .. and just don't. I really don't want use it to sell-it is too pretty.
Course- that is probably why I have so much now- sometimes fabric is just too pretty to sew with.!

Hard to pick but i have to say one of my favorites is also a fan fav to with my customers- it is a flannel with owls in different colors. Very cute and the flannel super soft.

I have some Susan Branch cotton fabric that has little pictures of things for tea time...I just love it.
I used some recently for a tea cup pincushion I listed in my shop...I find myself just wanting to save that fabric!
I did make myself a bag out of it that I love using!

Ha ha! I noticed I am wearing grey shirt and jeans, but love wild fabric too! What's up with that?

I have a hard time cutting into some funky novelty prints, not knowing if there will be more if I goof!

I keep getting more ideas...and more fabric. I think I have a stash "problem".

I have a gorgeous piece of vintage barkcloth, about 5 or 6 yards, that I got from my Grandmother (before she passed away last year). My Grandma taught me to sew, crochet, knit, cooking and canning etc. I have slowly been chopping away at it and making small things like handbags or wallets for family. I am gonna cry when its gone. sniff

I have some Robert Kaufman fabrics that I'm nervous to cut into, which is silly because I know someone will want what I make out of it and then I just get to buy more :)
