Knits sew up really well on a serger...once you get it threaded properly. I did some hemming (sleeve cuffs AND pant legs) for a lady last week that I NEVER would have attempted on a regular sewing machine. Did a cover stitch & they came out just like the ones on store-bought. And I HATE hemming. easy-peasy.
I got a shot in the spine yesterday, so today I could walk AND sit - whoohoo - celebrated by making 23 (yup, TWENTYTHREE) potato baker bags. Prepping for my final craft sale of the season tomorrow. After that - it ALL goes in the shop! YAP! Oh, and I have custom order in the works -
6 placemats & a table runner (all quilted blocks) - same lady requested a toaster cover in addition, to match. Hope I have enough fabric left over, 'cuz the shop is out of it!
