How to Figure out Ship Fee's for Fabric's.

I am new selling fabric's here on Etsy. Can someone guide me as to 'how to list a ship fee for yardage Fabric profile?

Example: 1 yard of fabric- 5.00. Ship Fee for 1 yard fabric=USA 4.00.

How do I list a Separate Ship Fee for 2 or 3 or 4 or 5 yards?
I can't figure out how to do this. Help please :-)

On Etsy, you can only have one shipping rate per country.

Hi,
you can do this way:
you put for ex. 5.00 for 1 yard for USA, then you add 1.50 for every other item

When I sold 2 yards for an australian customer, i put:
10.00 for the first yard + 5.00 for the second = 15.00 that was exactly the amount of shipping cost for the 2 yards

Convo me if you want more explanations!

Re: How to Figure out Ship Fee's for Fabric's.

I ship almost all fabrics in padded bags whenever possible which keeps weight down. I weigh each listing separately and add my shipping profile for that weight. This is easier for me as I sell by piece in most cases instead of by yard.

For US orders, I find majority of heavy fabrics or combined orders over 1 lb fit in USPS padded flat rate envelopes (these are free and available only by ordering from USPS site) - shipping cost is $5.70 on these packages no matter what the weight
