Winning Friends is essential for success on Etsy, and, it is a great way to help make the travel on the road to Etsy success much easier and pleasant too.

The Principle of Reciprocation is without a doubt the most powerful tool we have on Etsy for Winning Friends, Shoppers, and Buyers, too!

For now, let's just focus on these twelve short chapters:

Chapter 1

➽ Own all 7 habits of highly effective people with a double focus on being proactive!

Chapter 2

➽ Study well and make practical daily application of Dale Carnegie's principles in "How to Win Friends and Influence People."

Chapter 3

➽ Seek to Understand Well how shoppers find it easier to buy from someone friendly and who GIVES FIRST in reciprocation.

Reference here is Steven Covey's book "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People," and research information on the topic of RECIPROCATION.

Chapter 4

➽ Give away something FREE or complimentary that has some value and yet you can afford to give away free.

See Appendix A below for an example.

Chapter 5

➽ Manners!

"Please and Thank You" and so very much more.

Yet, manners are only valuable when used with respect, love, and caring too. Manners need to be motivated by a genuine caring for other people.

Chapter 6

➽ Promote, promote, and promote. Also, advertise, advertise, and advertise.

See Appendix B for example.

Chapter 7

➽ "Go the extra mile!" or even just the extra inch or two.

Always give more than your competition does and thus be generous which is what is appreciated today.

Chapter 8

➽ Be you! Be especially you!

Identify 1 or more character traits you have that is outstanding and take it to the next level.

Quality character says a whole lot of great things about the person.

Chapter 9

➽ Follow up, follow up, and follow up.

Check once, check twice, and check a third time!

Never ever leave anything to chance! Use a Shipping Double Checklist to make sure everything gets shipped out perfectly. Maybe consider doing a trial order shipment to yourself to see how you feel when you open your order.

Chapter 10

➽ Use your CONVOs well!

We now have the Snippet Tool; so we can save CONVOs and just do a little editing to them to personalize them.

Continuous learning leads to continuous improving.

➽ If you are a lovely lady who sells jewelry, first sell yourself on your jewelry by wearing it at almost all times. This shows you believe in your product. Maybe create some simple complimentary jewelry or jewelry related gifts to be given away as samples?

Appendix C

➽ Create the best snippets you can and have them ready to answer about 80% of your inquiries; so you just need to personalize edit a little.

The Big 3 CONVOs are:

➽ The Buyer Thank You CONVO sent within 24 hours after the purchase is made. Not when the sale is made; the sale is only made after your customer receives their order safely and is 100% Satisfied with it and leaves you a 5 Star Review!

➽ The Buyer Shipping CONVO sent 1 day after the order has been shipped. Inform the customer of what to look for; such as, your order will be arriving in a 9" by 6" white padded envelope for protection.

➽ The Buyer Satisfaction CONVO sent 1 day before the Buyer can do a review. "Please CONVO me if you have any questions about your order, and please let me know if you are pleased with your order when you CONVO me."

➽ Attach to each of these 3 CONVOs specially designed appreciation photos.
