Hi, I just wanted to let you know there is a scam going on for Etsy shops. I learned the hard way. I was contacted by a man who said he was from Houston and lost everything in the flood. He wanted to order my Pierre Cardin tuxedo and have it shipped to his business address. The business address did not show up as recognized by USPS. I had to call the post office on an item that had arrived broken but could not file a claim because the tracking # was not valid. Anyhow, the scam is that the purchase is sent to the address provided but tracking does not show that address. The person files a claim with PayPal who deducts the price of the purchase with a $20 fee. So the seller is out the item and the price paid also. I found out on a Shipping Q&A thread on a different team. I had asked what you do if the address is not recognized by the USPS. Well, now I know, you need to get the address verified. I don't know if you should not send a purchase to an invalid address.
