First off, why the heck does it even matter? Let's take a look at my first 6 months of sales with LittleHighbury-- over $50,000. And guess what? The only "marketing strategy" I invested in at that point was this:
1: Search Engine Optimization
SEO, or search engine optimization, is simply the way that people find your product on Etsy. Have good SEO and Etsy will reward you by directing more and more customers to your Etsy shop. Bad SEO? You can forget about views, much less a sale. It’s an absolutely CRITICAL piece to the Etsy puzzle and one you should definitely take care of in the beginning stages of your Etsy shop.
SEO utilized “keywords” (which is just a fancy way of saying “one-two word phrases that describe your item”) to help get your items found. These keywords are the ones you should be using in your titles + tags as well as your product description.
just make thing clear i'm not a seo expert or anything, so what i did wa find someone to do all the necessary SEO things.
WHERE! I RECOMMEND THIS:
THERE'S A TON OF PEOPLE DO THOSE SERVICES YOU CAN CHECK THEM HERE
2: Use Better Photography
Use Better Photography Your smartphone camera is just not cutting it anymore! Since customers can’t touch and feel your product, your images must show the best qualities of your product.
Refine your product photography by using a professional camera.
Make sure you have proper lighting, a clean surface for your product and a nice backdrop. Always be careful to highlight the size and use of your product – and if it’s scaled.
Don’t worry if you make a mistake, you can correct any lighting or color issues – and crop your image – with a photo editing tool like Adobe Lightroom or Photoshop. Have fun and experiment with different angles, lighting and backdrops.
you don't have any experiment on this apps don't worry hire someone to do it for you
I RECOMMEND:
3:Promote Your Shop Strategically
Your customers hang out on social media – probably mostly on Pinterest –so stop gossiping on Facebook and make some waves letting people know you have snazzy stuff for sale! Here's an example of how I promote my items on social media (click the image to see it live):
If you are not marketing your Etsy store on Pinterest and using it to drive more traffic to Etsy store, you are seriously losing out on sales and quality traffic.
70% of my first month’s traffic was from Pinterest. Now in month 6, I’m getting around 200 visits a day from Pinterest. If you are wondering how to drive more traffic to Etsy store, Pinterest is your answer. That said, you need to learn how to promote Etsy shop on Pinterest the right way.
I RECOMMEND:
Promote Your shop To A 4 mil Pinterest Audience
So be patient, keep trying + experimenting, and I PROMISE that you will see results!
