Frankly speaking I never really check if everyone is commenting, but it looks like there is a problem with this. During the last blitz it was really hard to comment on all the treasuries, because there were so many participants. I manage to comment on some treasuries only the next day. So if you think the rules are too hard to follow we can of course change them, for example we can make 2 treasuries instead of 3, so it will be easier for everyone to click and comment. What do you think?

H Maryia, yes I have to admit I'm guilty of not commenting on all. With the best will in the world, it does take a huge amount of time. I find myself pulling together treasuries with one hand whilst bathing/ feeding my kids with the other!

Submitting just two treasuries (and therefore reducing the total number to comment on) would be much more manageable.

@ Susana: This is true, but if we would have 30 or more blitz participants this would be hardly possible anyway. To avoid the situation, that not all blitz participants are featured in the treasuries we could introduce the rule feature 3 members before you and 3 after you, so for example if you are number 10 in the list you should feature the team mates number 7, 8, 9 and 11, 12,13. And you are free to chose the other 6 or more team members to feature in your treasuries. Is it clear what I mean?

Maybe commenting on each and every treasury is not that serious.

What we think is important is that every participant actually does the 3 treasuries and puts the members of the team in the first 3 rows... What is unfair is that some members in the last blitz did not make any treasury at all while they were featured in quite a few...

We think that we would lose the fun in making a treasury if we have to include the 3 membres before and the 3 members after. It is better to have the freedom to choose those that we actually want. It is like a game after all.
In the last blitz we tried to include all members but when we are so many, it is practically impossible and maybe it is neither necessary...

Sorry, I didn't really realise it was a 'rule' to comment on all the treasuries in the blitz. Although must say that now I have seen this I think it would be quite a tricky thing to manage!
I agree with the post regarding choosing our items for the treasuries - otherwise I believe the qualities of treasuries would be lost - I always try to follow a theme and this may not be possible if you cannot select the items/shops yourself.

As I see the FP treasuries, and any that I have been successful with making it there in the past have always followed and theme - be it colour or a pattern etc.

When I was part of the high flyers team, we were expected to do 15 treasuries a month (which I couldn't manage - and decided I would leave the team) - however it was not requested that we commented on all of the treasuries. I was in the team for approximately 5 weeks and I would say on average we hit the FP at least one maybe twice a week. The lack of team comments didn't seem to hinder the treasury success.

Anyway - I'm happy to conform with whatever is decided as a team!

Hi! I agree with Anitha and Jose and Susana too. What I see in some of treasuries in the front page is that they have only few comments... So I think is not a criteria for selection. Althought post comments is a great way to keep everybody motivated, for me is a good way to know that team members visualized my treasury. I make an effort to comment in all treasuries... But when their a lot, probably I miss a few...
One rule that I saw in other team- to click in at least 2 items of the treasury to increase the visualisations of that item and in that way help other team mate. I really don't know if that makes any difference, but I click in several items anyway...

Team, are you having a good experience with the sales event? I'm stuck with no sales since September...

Thank you so much for sharing your opinion! So I think we will be having the next blitz with new rules: make at least three treasuries and click and comment if you have time. Will this be OK?

@Ana: the same for me :( no sales since September and also no sales with the coupon code. I hope this will change.

I am very glad this discussion about the Blitz rules.
What I had in mind on previous message - the problem is not the comments. As noticed Athina and Jose, some of the participants does not create any treasure under the Blitz rules. It is unfortunate when these things are repeated more than one time.

We think blitz and treasure building is a fun creative game. The rules, which were by far is relatively simple, but unfortunately, as in many games - much of the fun is lost when someone fails to comply with the rule.

Hi, can anyone clarify what exactly increases the chances of being on the FP? I had assumed it was the number of comments, favourites etc. in which case there may be an argument to only do 1-2 treasuries each and ALL get commented on and favourited by ALL participants.

Or does the EK team get more notice if there is a large amount of treasuries featuring 'ekteam' as a tag? So it's best to submit more treasuries, but worry less about the comments/ clicks/ favourites?

When I met some of the adms in Rome in June, one of them told me that there is someone picking Ts for FP. They don't look at the amount of favs or comments. They notice the amount of team tags :)

Virginija: This is sad, but I really do not know what to do with this, because I do not want to introduce some sort penalty for those who does not follow the rules. In such cases I just hope that the person was not attentive enough to read the rules and that she will do better next time.

The treasuries with more comments and clicks are getting "hot" and are displayed on the first pages of the Etsy Treasuries list, what increases the probability, that more people will see them. This is however does not play any role if the treasury will be featured on FP. So the more treasuries we make the more is the probability that etsy admins will pick one of them for FP.

Mirta: do you mean we should use more tags as "ekteam" and "european kids"?

Maryia I think for blitz we should always use 2 tags, one for the team and one for blitz. And I think they should always be the same ones all the times.
So for example: "ekteam" "ekteamblitz".
