Hi McCauley!
Welcome! :) I'm not an old Etsy pro (I've been selling for about 8 months now) BUT I thought I'd share some of the wisdom i have aquired in that short time.
First of all, the items in your shop are so cute--I particularly like the Owl Plush Pillows. I know you mentioned that you said that you are working on your blog so you haven't added many items to your shop. I think that an important part of driving traffic to your shop is to have a decent amount of items for sale. More items mean more views, which in turn means more exposure for your shop. Don't be disheartened by that though...it definitely takes time to build up an inventory.
As far as the blogging goes, I don't have much knowledge about that. I, too, have heard that a blog is a great way to help your Etsy shop grow; however, I am actually in the process of starting one just like you! So, I'm eager to hear what others have to say about the blogging process! :)
I looked through your item tags, and those look good. Have you considered shipping your items internationally? I would suggest looking into it to see if it would make sense for your products. I was hesitant to ship internationally at first; however, it's actually pretty easy. It, of course, costs more, but international buyers are willing to pay higher shipping costs for the item. I believe that part of that is because the exchange rate for many countries into US currency is in their favor at this time. I will say that the majority of my sales have been to Australia! :) Shipping internationally widens your selling market, plus it's really cool to think that someone across the globe is using your item!
Like I said, I'm relatively new in the Etsy game as well, but hopefully some of this helps you out a bit!
