when I have had that happen I told them they would have to return it either by paying postage back or leaving it unopened and marking it as return to sender.
I responded "I don't understand this was delivered this morning per USPS tracking"
we'll see what they say.. it was basically delivered at 8am ish this morning and they sent they wanted to cancel order around 1pm.. why would they not just say there was an issue or ask to return??? feeling very uneasy about this.. but already contacted paypal to let them know
If it was delivered the order can't be cancelled. An order can only be cancelled before its been shipped. I'd simply tell them to send it back and you will refund the purchase price and NOT the shipping costs.
thanks everyone... I haven't heard anything back from the person since I sent the message "I don't understand this was delivered this morning per USPS tracking"
I think they might have been thinking they could get out of it but have since decided not to.. I'll keep checking with paypal in the meantime but I advised them what had happened as soon as I saw her message..
if just felt sneaky to me as soon as I saw the message but maybe they just had buyers remorse.. we'll see.. I think I have a 7 day window from time of receipt to return I'll have to look at my own policies.. lol :P
