I think it's time for my main sewing machine to go in for servicing/repair. I think the timing is off. :(
why couldn't it have waited a week?!
I have a back-up machine but I haven't used it much since I bought it over the summer.

Gotta be Monday! I finally took myself by the hair and dragged me in to take photographs after putting it off for over a week. First thing I did was knock over one of my lights and break it. I have no spare bulb. So, no photos again today.

Who knows when I'll have the strength again to grab a handful of hair and force myself in there once I get a new bulb?! Life is so hard...

ugh, I think that is worse than my machine deciding that it wants a vacation. I hate taking pictures so anything that get in the way of that is like climbing a mountain.

yep, I just bought a new one, which arrived two days ago. mine got jammed, & I am no sewing machine expert. luckily a friend had one I could have borrowed or I would have been SOL.

I just got a new one - Singer Etsteem II, the thing was horrible so I returne it. It's what I get for getting one at target. I went to a craft store and they gave me a discount on a fancier one, Singer 4411 heavy duty. I'm having a blast sewing again, I've missed it quite a bit.

I have a back up machine and serger. I hate both my back ups but they come in handy when the time comes.

It's always a good thing to have a backup :)
hell, I have a backup crochet hook for each of my commonly used ones!

Just like your sewing machines, things can happen, I've lost several 5mm hooks, 2 have become broken

Be glad you have the back up!, but it still sucks that your workhorse broke!

I got my machine back from repair this afternoon. :D
now I have to clear off it's table because I used that table to hold all the sewing while I used the other machine. actually, I need to just clean my sewing room/office.

Meeeeee tooooo! I just bought all new shelving system for my studio. Hubby will assemble it between Christmas and New Year's, and I will do a major overhaul then. It's a mess right now!!!

It's a disaster in here. I haven't had time to actually clean or put things away. it's been find the fabric, make the items, ship, and repeat.

Took my big Juki in for service today (planned) and should have it back in early January
