You have to live around here (NY) to get it!!! Staten Island and Long Island, Brooklyn and Queens. The attitude and accent are very much the same. My relatives and friends from Utah (where I am originaly from) say I have accuired the accent!

Had yummy "ladies' lunch" as part of a project meeting today. Since we both had things to do after and roads are crapola we skipped the wine with lunch though!
Driving home from set up. I was right next to one of the load in doors, and froze!!!!! But should be good sweater weather. Need wine! My hubs was sooooooo helpful!
Bought a new computer today. There goes my profits so far this year! Now I need help from the Techie Gods to help us set it up. I am not at all tech savvy and neither is hubs. A real downer for retirement, at least at work we had the school geek or the kids to help with computer stuff - here we are on our own.
Yea pretty sad when it got up to 14 today with sun out for a bit and walking out of lunch meeting the other person said "nice and warm today, must be up to 40s maybe". Um sorry but it was 14 when I came past the bank on the way here.
Deb been freezing her too!!! Hubby said "it's never been 17 degrees here before" I'm making him an appoint for dementia (sp) testing!!! I remember our pipes freezing with below 0 temps. The last 3 winters have been pretty mild and he forgets!
