Soooo I have never had an issue with someone wanting to use one now I have someone who does.. Has Etsy decided on any guidelines yet as to how they plan to protect the parties or handle returns etc????

Thus far, I have found............for me and my shops, that people purchase with DC are honest buying customers. I have used the refund process and I have accepted etsy form of payments. I have not had a "gift card" go through easily YET.

I do still prefer Paypal over any other form of payment, unless someone wanted to pay by Square, I could do that and then Square guarantees payment process.

DC is still in its infancy and I believe they will get it down to a point where we receive our funds sooner, well at least that's what I'm hoping for.

Well, they have improved upon it since its inception. Also, they do have some phone support now for dc problems. I don't know of anyone who has had any more issues with it than we would with PayPal. If there were problems you'd be reading about it night and day in the forums. I haven't had any at all. And most get their money within 2 days. You can turn it on and try it. Just turn it off if you change your mind.

I've been using this feature almost since it was introduced. No problems yet.

I have not had any problems at all with DC. I like it more then Paypal. Less fees I think.
