been a while, but pricing is hard

It's been a while since I've been in here... like months! Eep! I guess I spend more time in Facebook forums than Etsy forums these days.

Anyway, I don't want you to miss out if this would be helpful to you.
Tomorrow (Wednesday, October 30th) I'm doing a webinar about pricing art. It's pretty much everything you'll need to price your work to sell and make a profit and feel confident about it and not lose your soul in the process because you felt like you overcharged a nice person or something.

It's pitch-free so I'm not going to push you into some expensive program or something. In fact, I've got more free stuff you can do after the webinar if you want. I like free. It makes people happy.

That being said, your products shouldn't be free! Ack! No freeeeeeee!!

(there will be a recording if the tech gods bless me and you'll get it if you sign up)

Re: been a while, but pricing is hard

I have been thinking about this post.
I am not comfortable with it.
I subscribed out of curiosity but it feels kind of like there is some sort of hook in there somewhere. Maybe a charge for the artist coaching.

guess I am cynical, I think altruism is rare and unusual.
forgive if I am wrong

Re: been a while, but pricing is hard

Hey Karen! I understand your skepticism.
I am a coach and charge for those services, but I won't be charging on the call or pushing anyone to work with me on the call. I want to increase my visibility and the number of people on my email list. That is the goal of this webinar for me in addition to teaching people because I think it's fun.
I believe in giving in order to receive. While we all do things with ourselves in mind, when we are purposefully altruistic we tend to enjoy the fruits of that labor and it often comes back ten times over. So I'm happy to give now and then see the results later as people need my help, get to know me better, and are willing to pay me to help them sell their art.
