Good morning!
I'm posting the tues thread because I can't sleep.
I am learning that taking risks means falling down, crying a little, getting back up and having more fun trying again. It takes courage and guts. Today I am a little low on the Courage and guts but my stubborn streak is still strong.

Today is puppy day! Scott has already left to go get him, but probably won't be back until 3 or 4. Lauren is home with a sore throat, so hopefully she will improve rapidly so that she can really enjoy Indy's surprise homecoming. Won't Fritz and Heidi be surprised when he comes barreling in the door! They'll probably be thinking, "Geez - another one?!"

I think today, I will finally get back to creating. I have made any new pieces in about 2 weeks. I've been trying to move some of my clearance items right now. So it will be nice to get back to creating tonight. :-)

uhhh, jeez, Karen....big ole cyber squeeze from this end. Take it easy today girl.

A puppy...as much as that sounds like the best love of all, I don't envy the potty learning at all. But remember how much I feel in love with my first Chinese pug.

Good morning! A day of cooking for my now 17 year old's birthday supper. He wanted meatballs, Mac and cheese, and pecan pie. The meatballs are on the oven right now, some Irish soda bread is on the counter ready to go in, the pie is compliments of Mrs. Wick's in town, and I also planned some homemade cookies since the other two kids do not like pie.

My mom used to just open a can of pie filling for me and put it in a bowl and would bake just a pie shell for my sister in law. I didn't like the crust and she didn't like the fruit.

I grew up in the town famous for sugar cream pies. The pie factory here offers their 'seconds' or pies that didn't pass quality control because the crusts weren't perfect or a pecan is missing. I was able to get a pecan pie and a sugar cream one for less than $5 (both 8 inch).

I used to not like pie either, but something changed in the last couple years because now I love it.

Mina let me sleep a solid six hours last night, yay!
Yuna painted an impressive chalk painting last night too. So impressive that my husband had me stop nursing the baby to have me go look at it. We took some pictures of it and plan to print and frame it.

Hi everyone! Yay for new puppies and yummy pie. Pecan is my absolute favorite.

My favorite kind of fruit pie is cherry. My mom makes the best pie crust. I usually eat the filling first and then the crust.
A puppy is a cure all for all kinds of ills, aches and pains. Fact.

That just about sums up my day too. People are being weird. Some thing must be in the air or maybe it is the moon? But, puppies and pie will make it all better. Shows up at the door holding a fork.

Can't believe anyone wouldn't like pie. Now see I am not much on cakes but pies...yes indeeedy.

Goood grief... pheew. I didn't have any canned dog food so put a teaspoon of cat on his food and I tell you the air in this room is rank. Whoa.

Oh I was very excited, I got my kitchen rugs today in the mail... bathroom rugs for the kitchen. And then I cut my toe and bled all over them. There are days I just wonder ......
