Throw pillows

Those of you who have throw pillows, what size do you have?

I've been thinking about making them, and I don't actually have any to compare.

Re: Throw pillows

They come in all sizes. Mine are mostly in storage but make them any size you would want to. I have them from small just accent ones to really large ones you can sit on.

The smallest in this house is 11x 15.

Re: Throw pillows

Are you going to provide the inserts or just do the covers? In the stores here, inserts only come in a few standard sizes, like 16"x16" and 18"x18". So if I were buying a pillow cover from you, I would want it to match a standard insert size.

Of course, if you're going to stuff them, then the sky is the limit. I would buy little ones for my daughter's bed (like 12"x12") and larger ones for the couch (16"x16"). I have a couple of knitted pillow covers and I love them!

Re: Throw pillows

It might be a good idea to go to the craft store and find out what size stuffing/inserts they have available before you begin.

I think some standard sizes are 12 x 12, 14 x 14, and 16 x 16.

Re: Throw pillows

If you go on Joann's website, they have the standard sizes. I did some looking around before I listed my pillows, and the majority of sellers sell the covers (but show them on forms) That makes shipping a lot easier!!
