Just got the confirmation that one of the weddings I made dresses for is going to be featured in WellWed Magazine. They are sending me a hardcopy. Can't wait to see it. They don't have it online yet.

Its been a few years now, but in my eco shop my products were discovered on flickr by editor of Country Living Magazine. My handmade gift boxes were on the flip-book cover and on page 13A of the 2009 Nov/Dec issue.
I have never been so busy, or sold more untis ever.

You are gonna be so busy.

Well so far I am already pretty booked through June. My wait is already 8 weeks. Guess it is time to hire some help. But I am such a control freak about my products I don't think I could let anyone help. But I am going to go ahead and order some clothing labels, and tags. Time to start branding.

You know maybe you could hire someone to handle the etsy stuff, marketing, listing and convo replies.

Then that would free you up to design and create.

I had to have my grown kids take on more of the house chores, and deliver parcels to the Post Office.

Yeah I use my family too. My Mom lives with us so she does the ironing, I taught my husband to serge (straight seam only), he also does the PO runs, and then my daughter is the model. I have a friend I hire during peak season to clean house. But I really think it is time to hire a part time seamstress for some straight seaming.

Actually Sassi She already says she wants to wear real clothes like her brother. But she does enjoy dress up and twirling. Luckily for me my best friend has 1 year old twin granddaughters, so when she won't do it anymore I got them. Then again maybe my designs will change as my daughter grows. There is not enough tween clothes out there. It goes from little girl to hooker...

Actually to all of us. If they come to my shop they are coming to Etsy. I know someday I will need to get my own shop, website, but until then if you come to see my shop you will learn about Etsy. And it might show someone what Etsy is. I was selling on Ebay, and a person at the fabric shop said go to Etsy...I thought she said Itsy. So it took some searching, but then I found my home. And you know honestly if things do take off for me, I love this site, and I don't think I will ever leave. It already changed my life in leaps and bounds....Hopefully someday I will be one of those featured sellers who also gets a quit your day job spot that everyone complains about..LOL...This is my Morning, Afternoon, Evening, and Midnight Job....
