How I Made Etsy Easy

I introduced this beautiful size 4 to the shop yesterday as much as I like human models. I am able to list so quickly now! I love her :)

Wondering how can I better prepare for the coming season.
What have you done to lighten the load?

Those look great!!!! The pictures are awesome. I wish I could do that. The mannequin I'm currently using does not do the clothes much justice. I list, but still have to schedule a shoot.

Re: How I Made Etsy Easy

I have my lovely ladies of Styrofoam heads & their gentleman friend of similar origin. A practice hand for salons loves to show off my yarn bracelets.

Also, setting the day for the shop, the evening for school, and the night for the shop again. It might sound like a bad idea, but it's simply:

Daylight for photos
Evening for empty studios
Night for quiet editing & uploading.

And then I fall asleep to video games. Lol

Re: How I Made Etsy Easy

Great post!! I am attempting to do the same thing. I have to be profitable to pursue my passion. I wish I had one thing to contribute, but everything is so complicated. I just take one thing at a time, give back where I can, and appreciate the huge amount of knowledge available in this team.

If I had to pick only one thing that is absolutely important above all, it would be photography. There are so many excellent posts and blogs out there, all you have to do is search and you will find a plethora of excellent posts on the subject. Applying it to your product and shop is where you will develop a style that is both engaging and profitable. Obviously, you have accomplished both.

You are a source of inspiration, thanks so much!

Sharon, you can do it :)
I purchased my manneqin from Etsy seller - Mannequins-more
It was so inexpensive and you can easily adjust the height.

Re: How I Made Etsy Easy

Brandi - This is my first real Holiday on Etsy (opened last Nov. and too new then to have a clue).

But, you totally have a clue!! I have no tips, but your new pics great - I'm gonna check out the mannequin seller, I need a smaller one for my small clothing - not everything I buy fits my 39-29-39 lady - hahaha.

Good Luck

Re: How I Made Etsy Easy

@Brandi - There are classes in these studios during the daytime.

Most classes end by 4pm, with less than a handful of night classes. So I prefer to go in the evening when the studios are empty because there are no classes going on around me.

That, and a lot of people work at home, in their nice houses or apartments. I have a dorm, so I don't have much space to work with. Off to the studio for me! lol
