Hope everyone is well!

This year has been pretty busy already for me with a potential order for 20 pair of mittens to use as corporate gifts for a well known cookie company plus several regular orders and a custom order for hand painted yarn. All this while helping my middle child pack for his move to Florida on the first of February.

How has 2016 been for you so far?

2016 so far has been calm. I took a week and a half off from work just to give myself a break after the busy holiday season. I had hoped to do a lot of organizing of my craft stuff. Today is my last day...wanna guess how much organizing got done?! 😆

Finally recovering doing a month old strength training now in physical therapy. My bone was a nonunion, now it has joined. I can sew again and even made my first arm knitted cowl. Not perfect but I will wear it.

I'm just past the 6 month mark since my transplant and so far I'm meeting all of the statistical goals as far as the basic recovery process goes. However I have ended up with medically induced diabetes as a result of some of the medications I'm taking and I haven't nearly got the amount of strength back that I was hoping to have by this time. I'm still going to the gym a couple of times each week whenever possible but found out last week that I'm in the very early stages of my body rejecting my lungs. So six days in hospital to get that started under control and then another six months of treatments as an outpatient before I know for sure that I'm out of the woods. What the docs are trying to do is to kill my antibodies that are attacking my new lungs, using a chemo type procedure. My pulmonary therapy goals for my 9 month checkup have had to be pushed back slightly but that's ok. At least I'm still breathing.

Its been a tough road so far but others have had far more serious complications so I feel blessed.

Just got back from my trip abroad and I'm sure glad to be back in my own home :)

Hi Everyone,
Glad to see you all! I just reopened my shop about a month ago after closing for about a year. I was just too busy being a mom to my four little ones, and the stress of having a shop was really getting to me.
Now refreshed and rejuvenated, I have revamped my shop with brand new products! My favorites are the custom portrait illustrations. I made some for my girls, and a few as gifts for nieces and friends, and they love them!
I am so excited to be back and I can't wait to share all of my new designs.

Welcome Back Amy!!!

Life has been busy for me the last couple of months. Next week is Spring Break for my youngest. We haven't decided yet, but may head to see the middle child in Florida during part of it.

It won't be long until Spring planting begins, hubby and FIL are already working on equipment to get it ready.

I don't know where the time has gone Joanne, but I wish it would slow down! I've still got a number of procedures to have done re my transplant and I was really hoping to have them all completed before the beginning of summer!

The last three days have been sunny and warm here. It's like a taste of summer. I sure hope it doesn't mean that we will have another hot, dry summer.
