Even the admins want me to go and I don't know why

I hope it's ok to post this here. I'm a little confused as to why so many people, including some admins apparently, really don't like me. From the first time I posted, people have gone out of their way to harass me in any post I participated in. Even though I was only doing what most everyone else was doing, trying to help others. I got a warning from admin once because I c/p some helpful (or so I thought) advice from the Help section for a newbie. Then I was permanently kicked off the public forums for asking someone if they made something. What? It's alright for others to ask people if they made something, but it's not ok for a buyer to do the same? Oh well. At least this news will delight those who have been harassing me. Their job is done; they have run off another buyer.

But the kicker of the story is that I received an email from an admin offering to CLOSE my account for me!!! Why?

I honestly thought it was ok to be a member of etsy and participate in the social aspects because I'm a Buyer. I have actual clients that I research product for and then I report back to them when I find it.

So I'm at a complete loss as to why this admin and some sellers don't like me??

... V&H, I've seen your posts and I really don't understand what the issue is.

I wouldn't sweat it (as hard as it can be, been there and done that) because, at the end of the day, it doesn't matter squat what floating avatars on Etsy think.

Stick with teams, especially this one- we'll take care of you ;)

I'll also note that we have several buyers-only that are valued members. Etsy isn't a sellers-only exclusive club, although sometimes it acts that way.

Yes, sometimes it does seem like an exclusive sellers-only club. But only a few sellers (over there) go out of their way to make it so. Everyone else is warm and welcoming.

It's not mandatory but people are more comfortable posting in private threads. I was more or less giving others a heads up.
