Do you all remember the challenges we use to do?

Some of you newbies may not remember but they were a blast and got us all motivated to create new things! I'd like to try to start them up again.

I think we should start with the next holiday which is Mother's Day. The challenge is to create one NEW listing this month for Mother's Day. When completed please post here.

I'm up for ideas of new challenges so post your ideas here. The one that I really wanted to do but didn't have time was the scrap challenge so I think that one maybe next. Yes it's all about me :)

I loved the challenges too! I remember the scrap challenge, and the piece that I made for it. I had been given a green quartz stone as a freebie from one of my suppliers, so I considered it my "scrap". I made this necklace and sold it a while later:

I am in for a Mother's Day challenge. I just listed a necklace, but I'll think of a new design too. Fun!

I love this idea! I have actually been designing a special Mother's Day pillow with a garden theme using my yarn scraps. This thread has motivated me to start it next :)

I have been working on some designs for mother's necklaces with birthstones but they won't be ready in time for this mother's day.

Aww, thanks Kristina! I have had that brooch for a while now and I thought with Mother's Day approaching, it made sense to get an example listed now. I don't wear brooches, but there have to be some Moms who do. :)
