Woke early this morning, couldn't make myself go back to sleep. I'll certainly want a nap later.

Good morning!

Rains slid north of us yesterday and left us with just a light shower around 2:30 am. Hopefully I will be able to work a bit in the garden before the weeds take over.

Morning all! Another gorgeous day here in the rain forest zone of BC I can't remember the last time we really had rain. A couple sprinkles here & there but no real rain for a couple months.

Today's going to be a repeat of yesterday. Make dragons in the studio all day & then take #2 to day 2 of cheer assessments. She's trying out for 2 squads this year & while my heart hope she makes both teams, my bank account balance is hoping she only makes one.

Ningen, I recall those days with two kids, both wanting to play and instrument and attend softball. Lucky for me my son had no interest in sports at all and my daughter found enjoyed softball local city teams.....fees were very low.

I don't know how parents do it all now.

Just came in from trimming the Blue Spruce branches, lifting them up higher so my Mow-Man can get under neath. Its hot and Now I just want to crochet.

Decided that I want to build this:

but as a loose fit baggy shawl and I want to have small garnets on it too some how. I'll figure it out. No hurry to finish wont need it until March of 2016 but I know it will take time along with everything else.

Sadie and I swam today. She jumps in and swims to me, we cuddle and then she swims back. I sat with Marley the pug in my lap just letting her cool off in the water and jealous Sadie sat in back of me with her nose in my neck making sad snuffles.
Puppy charm school went poorly. Sadie was enchanted with all of those other dogs...my insistence that she sit and my repetitive calling her name became irrevalent. She can sit but first day of school was not her day to show off.
