Tips to Improve My Shop

Hi everyone, i opened my shop in January but i haven’t even got a single sale. I don’t know if its normal for a new shop but I’m getting really worried now? If anyone got any suggestions how to improve my shop that would be very helpful.

Hi Nebeela! I checked out your shop and I think it's great! You have awesome products!! I just opened my Etsy in December and only have 15 sales so don't be to discouraged! I noticed after I went back into my listings and unitized all the tags, I got more sales. I also noticed when I post in my social media accounts I get a lot more visits and views. Do you have an Instagram or Facebook for business?? Also, Sarah shared a link in the thread Etsy SEO that I think will help you! I'm currently reading it myself lol

I have a very new shop and had my first selling short time ago. I keep thinking that it will be better because I like so much my new work and I try to stay optimistic.
What I can share with you is that I keep working on the tags, the pictures and to compare prices to be sure to not be too expensive or too cheap.
Maybe it’s also helping to tell the story behind your shop, your product, why you do things, Instagram helps to share more personal things that can help your business activity.

Hi everyone - I always look at the stats page for my shop. It tells me what my customers are searching for and gives me ideas on how to incorporate those keywords into my listings. The traffic section on the stats page shows me which areas on social media I need to improve in order to gain more views, likes and hopefully some sales!!!! I’ve been on Etsy since February with only 1 sale but I think this team will help all of us become successful shop owners!! Happy Easter everyone🐰🐰🐰

Those are good ideas Sandra! I’m going to check my tags and keywords in my listings! I noticed I get a lot more views when I post things on Instagram verses posting on my Facebook page. I’m also starting monthly 10% off sales. I’m going to pick one item on Etsy each month and mark it 10% off for the whole month. I’m hoping that will generate more sales so I’ll keep you guys updated on how it’s working for me!

Hi Annie - I completely agree about getting more views on Instagram! I’ve been really behind about posting on FB anyway😬 I love your idea of a monthly sale promotion. I do something similar - I design prints and make a new one available each month for only $1.00. Thanks for keeping us updated. I’ll do the same!

Hi everyone. I thought it was js me iv had one sale that came from a Facebook post last month. I started my store in Dec. Iv been reading up on strategies to sell more on Etsy. Social media mix, SEO and increasing listings weekly is apparently very key. So I'm also going to up my game now, let's keep at it!!!

Hi! New shop here. I created a FB for business page and insta account and do post through those channels. I also use insta product pins.
