Hi i am a full time mom of a 6 year old son and been staying at home for about 2 years now. My husband doesn't want me to find a job as he said it is his responsibility but ive been wanting to help him provide for our family so I decided to do a research about how to make money at home. I am a very crafty person since i was a kid, from scrapbooking, baking, sewing, and also doing some all natural skin products for myself and been getting good feedbacks and complimengts from my friends/family that tried my products. Until my husband introduce me to etsy. And decided to turn my hobby into action to help me and my family grow.
I just open my shop few days ago and been working on my products as well. Unfortunately all my hand crafted soap are still in curing process so i only have few listings. Hello! I just opened a shop today, and have the three main things I make listed, hoping to get more things on soon as well. Everyone is always asking where i get my shoes, or telling me to try to sell stuff online. I'm a full time student and hoping this can be some source of small income to at least pay for the hobbies that I really enjoy doing.

Hi everyone. My husband and I own LIttle Creek Maple Farm. For a few weeks every year we make maple syrup. I am a mom to two energetic boys ages 5 and 7. I have been sewing most of my life. My mom used to teach sewing in the basement when I was growing up. Once I had a family of my own I needed a creative outlet so I started sewing again during naptime and after my boys went to bed. Now I share a sewing space with the wii so I often sew to the sounds of mario or other things blowing up.

julies5150world is my shop and I invest a little of myself in each and every item I offer. I started out selling supplies, mostly fabric even though the reason I even thought of opening a shop was to sell my art creations. It took me quite a few months to get up the confidence to add things I had made to my shop. I opened my shop in May of 2014. I am excited about my shop these days because I recently started to begin shifting the focus from fabric to hand made and special vintage items. It's amazing to me to know, thank you etsy stats, that people are actually visiting my shop to look at my creations more often than they search for fabric.
I absolutely love selling on etsy! I love my fellow sellers and I love my customers! It has been such a positive and, dare I say, life altering experience. I have met so many amazing people! You (the entire etsy community) have renewed my faith in the human race. I am so grateful.
Currently I have been making custom ordered shoes, backpacks and various other items that I decoupage with comic books or with a theme... whatever someone is into. I did a pair of wedge peep toe shoes with Dragon Ball Z, and I did a pink briefcase with The Lone Ranger, just to name a few. I am getting prepared to start adding more vintage semi precious stone jewelry items along with some hand made jewelry , some semi precious beads like a few Gorgeous Angel Skin Coral, Purple Amethyst, Carnelian and many more. I have a collection of Rare Vintage ILA Thailand Brass Figurines, (a unicorn, sea serpent, elephant, and more!) that I am offering at julies5150world as well.
