Re: Etsy Team HELP

Hi! I was wondering if anyone knows how much it would cost to ship to the U.S.? I would be shipping from Canada, from Canada Post probably.

Re: Etsy Team HELP

Thank you! But I tried that and I tried to calculate what it would be all together but I would need a zip code which I don't know any!
But thanks anyway, I might try asking them in person to make it more clear

Re: Etsy Team HELP

Wondering if anyone has run into issues with quantities of items in your shop. One evening last week a customer messaged me about making a quantity fo 30 of my keychains exactly like the one that was shown in my listing and she wanted to know if there would be price break for that quantity. It took me until the next morning to get back to her because I needed to see how much of the fabric I had on hand and figure out the quantity discount. By the time I got back to her in the morning she said she already purchased the item from another seller who replied to her the same night she inquired. Wondering if anyone has any experience with quantities? What kind of discounts do customers expect for quantities? Do you put some type of note in your listing if the item is available in larger quantities?

Re: Etsy Team HELP

Hi Wendy! Sorry for a late reply, we were away from computer a bit.
As we started recently we didn't have any big orders. But we experienced how important is to reply quick on message on potential order. That is how we got our first sale on Etsy. We replied within 5 minutes. After that we are trying to have Etsy conversation on mobile whenever possible.
As regards your question on discounts, we can only offer our opinion. Your key chains seems to have low price, so try to calculate as precise as possible your costs of production, and see if there is a room for small price reduction.
We suggest you to ask the same question in Etsy success team, where is a larger concentration of experienced sellers.

Good luck!

Re: Etsy Team HELP

Hannah, When I was trying to calculate shipping prices, I picked the furthest zip code from MD, where I live. I think I picked a Hawaii zip code (96782) & one in Pacific Beach WA (98571)

Re: Etsy Team HELP

An Etsy suggestion that was given to me was in order gain sales was ship internationally. So I updated my items for that. However, I did not realize that it costs $50+ to ship outside the US. I have several questions...

1. Is there a way to have two shipping ID's when you're posting a product? Such as one for Domestic and one for International? I've tried and can't seem to do this.

2. Should I change everything back to Domestic only with a note that International can contact me directly for shipping quote?

3. Help!!

Thank you,

Eva
