Twitter Retweet Circle RT3 - Our New (& 3rd) List Start Up!

Hi Team!

Now that we've begun adding new members, I am excited to get a third Retweet Circle going.

Anyone not on one of the other lists (RT1 & RT2) or looking to switch lists is welcome to join RT3. You don't need to know a lot about Twitter or Tweeting. Instructions to get set up are provided for setting up the automated portion (the main part) along with tips and suggestions for manual tweets.

To get started you are going to do 3 Things:

1. create and/or set up a RoundTeam.co account - they do the auto retweeting

2. create and/or set up a service of your choosing to auto tweet your product listings w/ the team hashtag #etsymntt

3. you are going to let me know that you have done the above two things and are ready to be added to the our Twitter Retweet list RT3

Sure! Just follow the instructions per the link above to set up your roundteam to retweet RT3 and once that's done let me know (step 3, last step) and I will add you to the list on Twitter. Let me know if you need help. :)

Thanks for showing us how to do all of this. I am kind of new to Twitter and still trying to figure out how lists work. For instance, I thought that only the tweets with the hashtag #etsymntt would show up on my list, but all of my tweets are. Will other people who subscribe to the RT3 list see everything or just the #etsymntt tweets?

Hi Anne! Yes all your tweets will appear in the list on Twitter and will all be visible to anyone who subscribes to the list. In fact, adding that 'List' as a column on TweetDeck it's a great way to follow, in particular, what everyone in your circle is tweeting.

On RoundTeam with regard to the List, we tell them to only retweet our tweets that include our Hashtag: etsymeetntweet -> RT3 -> #Etymntt

Hi Petrina!

Just took a look at your Twitter to see what's happening and from what I can tell you have been using #etsymntt in your shop tweets and only here and there for other tweets like treasuries--which will not show up in your shop stats.

We touch upon this before where i suggested that you use #etsymntt to get retweets for your product listings. That is the great benefit of getting retweeted the chance to exposure for your items and send traffic into your shop.

I recommend that you set up a way to tweet one item from your shop per hour using #etsymntt.

Hi Clarissa - I saw what Petrina wrote above and have also noticed recently that I haven't gotten alot of retweets. I just did a test tweet and only used the hashtag etsymntt - after 2 hours I only have 2 retweets. So, I am guessing that lots of people have pulled out and didn't tell you. Given my lonely 2 retweets, I would like to be moved to a more active retweet list. Just let me know. Thanks! Deb

@Deb Hi Deb, i assure you RT2 is very active! Just took a look and I can see that you are getting retweets.

However consistency is really important. Retweets numbers will go up and down from tweet to tweet so you need a steady flow of #etsymntt tweets to get a nice daily retweet volume.

The best thing is to tweet one product listing an hour 24/7 with the hashtag. Over time this will also help to increase your retweet numbers.

There are just a few tweets a day and none are for your listings. a low volume of tweets will result in a low volume of retweets and because your tweets are not for your products you will not see results in your shop stats.

In your etsy-fu you will need to set your global tag to #etsymntt

Basically you want to set up 24 tweets, 1 per hour, for your shop using #etsymntt.

I'm not familiar with hootsuite's platform. I just took a look and it seems like you have to have their pro plan to schedule tweets in bulk.

Some members also use Buffer.com

The only two services that I am very familiar with are Etsy-Fu and EtsySocial.
