Hi Team!

Let's start up our Tuesday Talks again. Please feel free to use this thread to troubleshoot, share ideas, information, recommendations, suggestions...whatever is on your mind. Remember, you can post beyond Tuesday. :)

I would especially love to hear from new mems to see how you're doing, if you have any questions about tweeting or retweeting or how to build a Twitter environment that supports your shop and is receptive your product Tweets. I know starting out can be a little choppy as some of your followers might complain to you about the retweets or even unfollow you but i assure you it is par for the course, and you will gain many more followers being on the team than you lose. So please, feel free to ask question or share any concerns.

Love this "chat" idea.....I would love to know how to build a better twitter environment to support my shop. I have been doing very little but now that we are back in the groove, I would love more to my store as well as to help others out as well.

I just unfollowed a bunch of people who haven't followed me back. As I was doing so I realized most of those people who weren't following me are pretty much the only ones who are retweeting me! How is this possible? Just when I think I'm finally understanding the workings of twitter, something else comes up that completely baffles me. lol

@Angela lol, our roundteam is set up to retweet who follows us as well as who we follow. So even though they have not followed you back because you follow them you get retweeted by them. It sorta like a fail safe / incentive for us to follow each other.

Plus, eventually if member are really bad at following back new members i remove them from the teams twitter to keep new member from following them (note: when that happens they also miss out of others follow from non-members who also follow the team.)

I am a bit early or a bit late , whichever way you look at it , has anyone been to the Round team site recently , my settings are showing that Direct Messages are rt ed (incoming) not sure I like it, the setting is set to all and looks like you can't change this , apart from rt only dm with a certain # which I can't seem to change to . I might be misunderstanding it totally but hopefully someone will put me right .

I don't quite understand the purpose of this feature but take a look at the attached picks to see if you have if turned on and if so how to turn it off!

in the second pic there are no settings and the "all" is blue.

Thanks Clarissa , mine is off , by the looks of it , I saw the all and thought whaaaaat . I hadn't noticed that setting before , and no I really see no use for the feature either unless they would like me retweet the adult site links I get lol , thanks for checking :-)
