Team Pinterest Gift Guide!

Hi Team! For this Year's Team Fellowship we are creating a Team Pinterest Gift Guide! I have been given tips and suggestions from Etsy to help guide us along.

Here is a basic outline of what we need to do:

1. First Step is to create our THEMED Group Boards
2. We all (team members) need to be able to pin to our boards - this involves send you each an invite via email
3. Populate our Boards with Pins relevant to each boards theme
4. Promote our Boards! On our Team Channels as well as our own Social Medias

Let spend today on Step One, creating our Themed Boards. Then tomorrow after we have our board in place, I'll set-up a form for requesting an invite to Pin.

So here is what we are looking for in terms of Themed Gift Boards:

We want to create boards that are not just related to categories but are also specific to a target audiences. In each of our shops we probably have an idea of whose buying from us or who's buying the type of products we sell and we can use that knowledge to create our boards.

So for instance:

Category: Gifts for Her
Possible Themes:

- Gifts for a Country Girl
- Bohemian Treasures for Her
- Badass Rocker Chicks ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ may be want to stay g-rated

Hopefully you get the idea! If not please feel free to ask questions!

Below are some categories...think about your products/customers and lets come up with some ideas for THEMES!!!

Most of my repins are for Rustic Interiors and Lighting....It could be Rustic Interior Home Decor maybe for the title. I'm not sure how many of you would be able to pin some of your items here or not. But I sure would. If you think it sucks, that's fine too. haha I'm a big girl with my big panties on. I can take the constructive criticism.

I make jewelry but have an Amazing Wheels board on Pinterest that has quite a few followers. Plus I just got some really adorable scooter charms that I would love to make into jewelry. So the "On the Road" theme popped into my head.

@Danna that is a good question! why don't we say yes it okay to pin from other shops..that would be in the spirit of what is reported to work on pinterest. I'll include this in the final write up for the board. We can always revisit is later on if for any reason we think it would be better not to.

Hi Lari! Thank you for asking this. These will be boards on our Team Pinterest account (Etsy Meet N Tweet). Once we have them in place i'll gather emails from everyone in order to send out invitations to post to the Team boards.

but it might me a good idea to add some of the boards to ones own Pinterest account for repinning!

A quick question. Is the Team Pinterest gift guide different than having an actual store on Pinterest? I haven't researched the Pinterest store much but came across it in the Etsy forums where people were talking about different venues.
