Hi Team!

I have so much I would like to share with you all and so...in addition to finding quicker ways to post information, which I am working on!...I would like us to try something new called 'Team Talks' where have a weekly scheduled phone pow wow to work on our shops. Here's what I propose....

For the NEXT four weeks, I would like to lead a discussion on 'Preparing for the Holidays'

Some topics:

SEO - Etsy's new search algorithym is a beast that can not be played nice with...you have to wrestle it to the ground! lol! and there are some things to do specific to the holidays.

PRODUCT DIVERSITY - simple ways to build on what you're already offering.

ETSYRANK, a 3rd party app - this is a great tool and there are ways to use it to really fine tune your SEO.

Plus, some members are in the Etsy Holiday Bootcamp and have shared the agenda with me and I'm thinking we could incorporated that.

Then, after 4 weeks we can review to see what we think of our Team Talks and if we want to continue them. And maybe if we like them, maybe we can organize them such that other members, who so desire, can lead a call in an area they're having positive results in.

So Team, whoever is interested, lets' talk timing...I'm thinking...

before the rest of our households are up? and leaving Sundays for implementing ideas?

Sounds good! That will be 7am Texas time..... Thursday and Friday nights are my usual Etsy-night-owl times, but I can tweak that!

So, I'm thinking Saturdays 11 am eastern time might work

11am eastern
10am mountian
9am central
8am pacific

4pm london
11pm china
8pm india
6pm ukraine

What do you all think?

HOW THIS WOULD WORK

1. we'll have a number to call and an 'access number' to input when prompted. for member outside the US, I'll post a list of in country numbers. (note: the access code will be the same for all of us)

2. PLEASE NOTE: The call will be record so that we can access the info later and so that other member can listen at a later date.

Please, let me know how you all feel about that?

3. I will be posting some info/worksheets that you can print out and use for the calls.

4. On the call we'll have an open discussion. I'll share info and give everyone a chance to ask questions. Other than that, we'll just see how it goes and feel our way through!

5. We'll talk for about an hour.

I'm thinking I'll post all the specifics (call-in numbers, access codes, worksheets) in a separate thread for easy access.

Please let me know what you think and if you have questions!

@Sue This is my bad! I posted here: https://www.etsy.com/teams/15782/etsy-meet-n-tweet/discuss/18122931 that we would not meet this Sat 10/29 but i did not post it here! Apologies and last week I was on early at 10 am instead of 11! All my screw up! I will convo you to schedule a make up call!
