1. Sign up for the Team’s Daily Digest – First Button of last box on the left of this page.
2. Follow along in the forum to participate in discussions, workshops & challenges.

::: Get Started On Twitter - 4 EASY STEPS Time: 20 mins ::::::::::::::::::::

1) Follow the team on twitter - 10 minutes
twitter.com/etsymeetntweet - follow the team's twitter and the people the team is "Following" That's the Team! Hint: it's the smaller list! - just click 'Follow' right down the line - you'll be done before you know it!

2) Set up https://roundteam.co - automatic team retweets - 5 mins
Followed-->#etsymnt | Set Filters: no conversations, min rt interval 12, profanity
Followers-->#etsymnt | Set Filters: no conversations, min rt interval 5, profanity

3) Set up http://www.etsy-fu.com/ - 24/7 Auto Product Tweets Time: 2-3 mins
Sign up for the free trial - no credit card needed. Set the Global Hashtag as #etsymnt -->Settings-->Tags

4) https://tweetdeck.twitter.com/ - Bird's Eye View of Team Activity - 5-10 mins
Once you've signed up, here are some suggested columns to add:

1. Your timeline – what your followers are tweeting
2. Your @mentions – who’s talking to or mentioning you
3. Your Interactions – who’s retweeting you
4. Your Tweets
5. #etsymnt team tweets
6. @etsymeetntweet – tweets from the team’s twitter
7. Etsymeetntweet’s timeline – all team member tweets

The above apps are not requirements. They are suggestions to maximize results and streamline efforts to save time. The main thing is to retweet the team and tweet your listings using our team hashtag - #etsymnt - do both, consistently.

Thanks for sharring Quick Start Guide, it was very helpful. I think i have done everything it says but not sure please let me know if i am not doing something correctly! Please let me know If there is any way to tell if everything was set up properly?

I would also appreciate some help setting up my auto reply with unfollowers.com? i have the account just don't see the option?

this is very exciting, i feel twitter is a powerful tool that i need to use more correctly and any help is truly appreciated

::::::: IMPORTANT ROUNDTEAM UPDATE :::::::::::

Roundteam has a new feature that is not shown in the picture linked to above. This feature is called DM (Direct Message).

Please make sure you DO NOT activate this feature. It will tweet messages from your twitter inbox! Used incorrectly this feature could get your account SUSPENDED (you will then have to write to Twitter to get your acct back). So please be sure to check that you have not unknowing activated this feature.

Also for the DMs I got paranoid so I clicked it and hit delete and then got the pop up "no more dms from this" (something roughly that wording). Im pretty sure there was nothing on anyways but hitting the delete and seeing the popup made me feel good haha!

I'm trying to set up RoundTeam but I am a little nervous about the DM.. not sure if it is on or off. Also not sure how to get the "no conversions" to show.

Also saw something somewhere (that I now can't find) regarding following those people who use TrueTwit... or perhaps it was something about what you had to do if you use TrueTwit and other members follow.
Can anyone point me in the right direction.

Hi Carolyn!

Don't worry about the 'no conversations' setting for roundteam....seams they changed things a bit and now that is the default. So, just set the other two setting an you'll be good.

Re the DM...as long as you don't have anything set up there you're fine but if want, please feel free to convo me a snapshot to double check everything. :)

@Miriam there are no time requirements. The core idea is that we support each others shops on Twitter with tweets and retweets.

You retweet the team the team retweets you. our system is pretty automated so you do not have to do a lot of manual retweeting. (you do need to do some so that twitter does not think you are a robot)

Your basic set up requires that you:

1. tweet your listings - so that they can be retweeted. For this you can use Etsy-fu.com (auto shop tweets 24/7) or you can use a scheduler like hootsuite, tweetdeck or dynamic tweets, or the tweet button in your shop. Many do a combination of the three.

2. you will need to set up an account with http://roundteam.co/ they are the service that does our automatic retweets.

How it works: we use our #etsymnt at the end of our tweets and roundteam seaches and finds those tweets and retweets them according to the parameters we set for volume and frequency.

So on your twitter feed every hour there would be a tweet for a product in you shop along with 8-12 retweets for team members. Those retweets will be a combination of products, tips, quotes, blog posts and the like.

With this set up you will have a lively twitter that will attract followers. And you will only need to do some manual tweets here and there, to say hi to people or thank them for retweeting you or following you or to respond to an inquiry - as your schedule allows.

i was following the video but when i came to lists it'isn't the same i tried to list where you write how to make a list i couldn't copy and paste it cause it wasn't showing on the search bar ? am stuck :(

Here is an image showing you what you need to set up roundteam:

You do not need to set 'no conversation' as that is now a default setting.

Also, you do not need to set up lists. Just copy paste #etsymnt into the 'Followed' and 'Followers'

Just make yours settings look like the picture and do not worry about where it says Direct Tweets, that's new and we do not use it. As long as the word "all" is blue you don't need to do anything to it.
