Important!! - Unretweeted Mems Please Read!

Hi Team,

This hopeful fix is for anyone on the NEW SYSTEM using/retweeting the NEW HASHTAG and getting very little retweets. (under 500)

PLEASE NOTE: This is not for those of you who have not updated your Roundteam and are still using/retweeting the OLD TEAM HASHTAG. please go here for instructions on updating to the new system: http://etsymeetntweet.com/team-guide/roundteam/

Basically, I've set up a second Twitter RT list and will be adding you all to it to form your own retweet circle for now. Once the rest of the team is on the new system we can try intergrating you back into the main list and hopefully at that time the system will have self corrected.

We went thru a similar situation once before when the team settings were fragmented. Once the team was unified, the retweets picked up for everyone that was having trouble.

THE ONLY THING YOU NEED TO DO is make ONE adjustment in your roundteam settings. Where you have RT change that to RT2.

everything else is as before - Ie the default filters come out and you add in
1. min. rt 5 mins and
2. profanity

Hey Clarissa,
I only got 2 retweets it looks like from a tweet about an hour old... This seems really low. So I just addded the RT2 to my roundteam.

Do I need to do anything else?
Are we deleting the other RT list now on round team?

My continuing lack of knowledge about twitter is driving me crazy to figure this out one.

Hi Clarissa,
I changed to RT2 and yesterday, I got about 70 RT on both times I tweeted using etsymntt and etsyretwt. To-day I only got 12. Does this mean I have done something wrong? or will it evan out.

Has the new list boosted anyone else's retweet numbers? I'm still getting 5 retweets at most, and many never get retweeted at all.

So mine have gone up - relatively speaking - but my best, best day since signing on to round team has been 365 views for the day; most days are 300 or under (lowest was around 180). So Clarissa, it seems like I would be better off switching to this RT2 (whatever it is, sorry a bit unsure but trust whatever direction you're giving! ;-)) Would you agree I should change my settings?

gspeed above - as Clarissa has told me, and it may be helpful to know, it's the overall views for the day, not per tweet, that I believe is the thing to look at (Clarissa, sorry if I'm wrong or out of line...hopefully I understand that correctly). Because the past 2 or 3 days things have gotten *marginally* better for me, even though I have some that never get any RT's, not a one....as I see others whizzing by being RT'd by "me" with 80+ tweets. I think - hope - it evens out in the end, and with Clarissa's hard work, I am sure of it. Think it's the transition but may be worth tracking your overall views in Etsy shop stats at the end of the day to see if it's going up....even if slowly. I feel your pain... :/ But I know it will get better for all of us in time.

Hi JoAnne - neither have gone up for me due to RoundTeam, and I'd guess it's because nothing from RT is getting retweeted, so no one sees it. I average something like 150 views per day, and that's been constant for weeks. My *best* day was 181 views. I was hoping to see a change after switching to the RT2 list, but I'm still not getting retweets or traffic increases. I just wanted to see if anyone else is still experiencing this, or if it's just me.

gspeed - famous last words :/ So far today's views are at 133 (should I have kept my mouth shut?? ;-)) and it's after 8 PM.

Clarissa - I'm sorry, I'm a bit confused. It seems like I'm one who should be going to the RT2 list...so is it something YOU have done, or WE need to do it? Maybe I misunderstood your note above.

I don't get it.

Early yesterday (after changes were done to RT2) I got 61 retweets.
BUT then the tweets from last night, this morning & just a 1/2 hour ago I have either 0 or 1 retweet. :(

Sorry your numbers went down...but yes please switch to RT2 in roundteam...and delete the set up for the other list.

Anyone experiencing low retweets should just switch to the new list. We are going to build this new second list. The volume of retweets will grow as we add more mems to it (RT2 this will be the list i start new mems using)
