First, my apologies for the long hiatus!....I've been reluctant to embrace the new forums so I am grateful to our teamie Frances of SupplySide Economics for putting together a multi-team, cross promotional Instagram event!
Frances is leader of the Etsy team SpecialT and thanks to her efforts, we are joining with several other teams this Saturday and Sunday, March 16 & 17, to create an Instagram BUZZ for our Etsy shops. This will be a great opportunity to get our shops "buzzing" on Instagram ... as well as pick up some new followers and make some new friends at the same time.
What you need to do:
DEADLINE: 12 noon (Eastern Time) on Friday, March 15
1. Post your Instagram link below.
2. Make sure you have fresh postings on Instagram for the weekend.
3. Come back on Saturday & Sunday and promote everyone.
Weekend Promoting
1. Click on each link provided. (this will be a link to the Instagram account)
2. Required: Like and leave a meaningful/appropriate comment of at least 4 words on on the MOST RECENT POST for each participant.
3. Encouraged: do the same for one or two other posts by this same participant.
4. Click on the shop/person’s icon (the image in the circle or name next to it at the top of each post) and leave it open for a few seconds. This is very important on Instagram! Movement between posts and/or within a certain account is tracked by IG’s algorithm and adds relevance for search purposes.
5. Follow back to Etsy shop and view 2 items. New hearts only if you are inclined! 👈👈👈
