IMPORTANT: Hashtag Abuser Update: New, Third Account!

Our Etsymnt hashtag abuser has added a third account:

@VintageRecycled

Please be on the look out...if this account follows you, to prevent retweets you will need to block it.

I think it's clear now that this person is dertermined to take advantage of us!

It angers me to have to devote this much attention to such negativity...wasting time and energy protecting ourselves--that should be spent promoting our shops and building our businesses!...every minute we spend dealing with him is a minute in which he could careless about us!..a minute he would have us held back!

Honestly i don't know yet what our strategy against an all out targeted attack will be but if we have to go to war...I think this person has chosen to go up again the WRONG TEAM!...and for sure he picked the wrong Team Captain!!!

and please have no doubt this person intentions (i did before but not any more!) I asked this person very nicely...again earlier today...to please stop using our hashtag and I wished him all the best!

and using our hashtag on this third account is his answer!...I don't have to tell you what it sounds like.

Here's what you can do...

I will leave it to each of you to DECIDE FOR YOURSELF what you would like to do...it's your twitter that's doing the retweeting...so the choice is yours to make.

You can choose to do any or all of the following:

1. Do nothing, if you want to continue retweeting these accounts.

2. Block thru Roundteam - add @RecycledSalvage @EtsyRecycled @VintageRecycled to the "not these authors" Filter (see pic attached below)

3. On Twitter: at the person's profiles--each profile - "Turn of Retweets" (see pic attached below)

4. You can block then unblock the person - that kicks a person off your twitter w/o permanently blocking them and that will stop roundteam as long as he doesn't refollow you and you don't refollow him.

5. you can block the person permanently and he won't be able to follow you again from these accounts and as long as you don't refollow him you wont post anymore retweets.

You can look at the twitter accounts and see the excessive usage plus the inadequate amount of team retweets in return and judge for yourselves..and the new attack @VintageRecycled.

Thanks Clarissa! I've blocked him on RoundTeam and unfollowed the one account I had been following. I had been wondering about him for a while - when you first brought the issue to our attention, I was sure he must be who you were talking about! What a jerk.

Blocked all three accounts simply because when I did go in and turn off retweets one retweet still managed its way in so blocked it was to be. Also the one account I had followed and turned off retweets is also unfollowed as well as blocked.
