I'm curious...does anyone else listen to Pandora while working on Etsy listings? I have just got into it and am really enjoying the wide range of music available, though I am annoyed that some of the Japanese artists I wanted are not on there. Anyway, was thinking it might be fun to follow each other and try each other's music. Should you want to hear my insanely eclectic channels, my link is below. Great news-I've gotten about 40+ new likes to my FB page!...but frankly I'm mystified as to why? I've never gotten so many in a single day. Is anyone else experiencing this??

Not as of yet...I did get a not so subtle prompt from FB about signing up for FB ads..yada yada yada...and somewhere along the line was a mention that I may of gotten a FB promotion boost from someone (another business page?)...If some kind soul had done that, I really wish I knew who so I could thank them profusely.

Has anyone been having problems with Tweetdeck ? I had a few weeks back problems scheduling tweets , the time and date when scheduling were coming up with "nam nam " whatever that is and just not tweeting, I left it as got to frustrated sorting it . Now when I try and schedule a Tweet everything looks good till I hit the schedule Tweet then it just disappears , doesn't appear in my scheduled Tweets column, total nightmare.
I have tried unlinking Tweetdeck access from my Twitter account and reinstating the access , deleting the scheduled column and re instating it but it still doesn't want to know ,grrrr
I use Etsy fu for my Etsy listings , Tweetdeck I use to schedule blog posts once a day so it isn't causing me a major headache just annoying , and I wondered if anyone else had had these issues or any ideas how to solve it, have a great day everyone .

Hi, I'm not experiencing any issues right now. I did once and I tweeted to them. If i remember correctly they did respond. Maybe try that @TweetDeck

I just wanted to let you all know that after whatever time they look for payment on the store, we will probably be closed for a little bit. My sales have been way down and this is my only income. We just don't have the money to pay the bill right now. Hopefully we won't be closed for long or we will have the money for the payment in time tomorrow. Thanks!

I wanted to ask if anyone else has international shipping? I recently decided to start shipping world wide but I only decided on a select number of countries which allow for confirmation that they were delivered. I recently was messaged by a customer in Japan and asking if I would ship to them. Japan is on the list for no confirmation of delivery-- Has anyone else run into this problem?
Do you just use UPS or FedEx when this happens?

Welcome Francine! I had my 1st international order 2 months ago-to Malaysia no less...it was incredibly easy using Etsy shipping labels & USPS.

I see you have lovely jewelry....1st class would be the way to go & definitely get insurance for the order-it costs very little.
Just follow the prompts thru etsy shipping labels & then print duplicates of everything to be on the safe side. Also, include a copy of the invoice inside the package.

As for tracking you will get a parcel ID # that will allow you to see it process within the US-once it leaves the US you just have to wait for it to arrive at Japan's processing, clear customs, and eventually get delivered/claimed by buyer.

It only took 2 weeks for mine to go from Chicago to Malaysia...but it can take double that time from what I've read in the forums.
If anyone else has any tips or anything please chime in :-)

Thank Christine! Agreed, using Etsy shipping labels make international shipping a snap!

Some points:

1. I have specific wording in shop policies regarding duty and vat fees! Please feel free to copy whatever lingo you want.

2. unless what you are shipping IS a gift from you to customer, your package is MERCHANDISE. Do not mark it otherwise. Customers have been known to request packages be marked 'gifts' to avoid vat and duty charges from their country but doing so is ILLEGAL. The charges vary by country and kick at different dollar thresholds...ie small order vs large.

3. With Etsy labels I find that I only need print the one label which I sign and fully cover with tape when adhering it to the package and I take extra care securing the package for the long journey.

Lastly, I do insurance depending on the amount of the purchase. So far only had one package go missing. However, international shipping has become a must with so many of orders coming from outside the US.

Anyone else with tips to share, please chime in!
