There really needs to be an option for sellers who don't have instant digital downloads OR ship physical items.
There is a WHOLE dynamic of Etsy Sellers who create customized invitations and designs for buyers to print locally themselves. We do not ship items yet were struggling to help customers understand to ignore the shipping confirmations.
If we make them instant downloads, we don't have an "open order" list to show us our current orders to design. Buyers also are confused by "instant download" Etsy adds to listing.
I've made over $40k selling personalized designs/invitations yet have had to jump through extra steps to deal with Etsys platform. There's many sellers like me who are now struggling with our inactive listings because the new shipping information requirements still don't apply to us
