If you want other people to pay attention to you-it's nice to pay attention to them in return. Circles-Favorites-Treasuries-all great ways to garner interest within Etsy.
Tweeting-Facebook trust me when I tell you that your followers get tired of seeing your promo all day every day. Limit the actual buy my stuff to 2x a day and instead show photos of your process or bloopers or talk about what you're working on. Engage your followers and they will become sales!
Promote other shops. It comes back to you. :)
Be sure to respond when someone promotes you or thanks you for promoting them.
