Great news! We pushed a change today that will impact which items are displayed next to each seller’s name when viewing a browse category.
Having the ability to select which items represent your brand has been one of the most frequently requested features. We know how important first impressions are, so our engineers created a solution that will give you more control over which three items appear next to your name when a buyer views a top level category.
We will now display the first three items in your linesheet, as set by the linesheet positions. If you have not set specific linesheet positions when editing/creating a product, the display results will default to the most recently added products in that category.
To set linesheet positions, edit an existing product from your linesheet manager. Toward the bottom of the “Edit Product” page you will see a field for “Linesheet position”. Please note that after you set the linesheet position for the three items you want to display (positions 1, 2, 3), the update may take up to an hour to impact the browse results.
As part of this release, we have also changed the default sort of your linesheet to newest items first. You can always change the order of how products are displayed by using the linesheet position field. We know editing each individual listing can be time consuming and we have great linesheet organization tools on the way, but we wanted to give you this option asap!
