More notification when an order is received, please!!!

I'm active on Etsy every day, multiple times a day, and I also regularly check out the EW message boards and such and stop in my EW shop as well.

So I'm not quite sure how I missed that an order was sitting in my 'received' inbox for an entire week?! I was totally embarrassed and apologetic for the delay, approved the order and am hoping that I didn't lose the sale because I missed it for so long.

Is there any way we can get an email, a convo, a pop up, a little number next to Wholesale on the top left just like our activity feeds or anything else to alert us to an incoming order?

HI Kristen. That's odd. I receive emails saying "Etsy Wholeasae - New Wholesale Purchase Order #XXX, Response Required". You should definitely be getting an email. Maybe it's a bug? Hope you didn't lose the sale.

Hey KJ!

So sorry about that. It sounds like you did not receive the email. Could you check your spam folder and see if it ended up in there?

We also have a green number counter next to the "Orders" field in the Etsy Wholesale header. The counter highlights the number of orders that need your attention. Once an order is approved, that number goes down since the order no longer needs your attention.

I will send you a convo so we can troubleshoot the email delivery issue and make sure the counter is working correctly.

Hi y'all!
I just encountered this problem today. I had no clue I had an order until the customer messaged me today. She placed it a week ago!! I too was embarrast. My etsy sale notifications to to spam by default because I get between 10 and 15 sales a day and it was clogging my inbox. So I assume that is where the notifications are going too ?

If love a more noticeable notification too please ;)

Are there other problems? Like when approving the order, and EW System NOT generating an Invoice to the customer? I saw no Invoice in the History Notes, and have no idea if customers received an Invoice?

Yeah I'd love some kind of notice of receipt. I lost the sale that I didn't see for a week - I immediately wrote them apologizing and approved the invoice, but no response, even after emailing them directly. I won't be reaching out to them any more for fear of being spammy... but there's gotta be a better way to manage this process?
