Accepting Order to Sending Invoice

I just received my first wholesale order and had a quick question. I was wondering if anyone knows about changing the terms from accepting the order to sending the invoice. Upon more reading, I have decided to changing the terms of when they pay and just figured out how to add a shipping charge. Is it okay to change from accepting the order to sending the invoice or is that a big no no?

Re: Accepting Order to Sending Invoice

I hope others chime in with what they would recommend, but in my opinion, without knowing the specifics...if you have already accepted an order based on certain terms, then I would try to stick to those. Then you can change them, and have them in place as you move forward with your other orders.

I would say No, especially if you mean by changing to add more charges. If the buyer is late with the payment you may (or you may not) change the shipping date. But I wouldn't add shipping charge after the offer is once submitted.

So, probably this first order will not work very well for you in terms of making profit, but I would use it as an example how to work from now on.
