Hi, I started getting random messages on my account from people who want to buy all my stock and now I can’t do anything about a poor womans order? can’t send messages to anyone, I have had a message saying that someone has placed an order but I can’t do anything about it as messages are failing to send. This is extremely upsetting and I really do not know what to do? Is there a phone number I can call Etsy to sort this out?

Hi, glad to be part of the community 🙂 I'm fairly new to Etsy having opened my store a few weeks ago and recently had my second ever order (woohoo!). I sent the item via royal mail 2nd class using etsy label over a week ago. The buyer has claimed that he hasnt received the item and when i check royal mail tracking site, it just says 'we will update when a delivery has been attempted'. Its a small item so item should have been delivered by now. The buyer seems genuine but now i'm wondering if its a scam as he can see that I havent had any sales! I've looked on his profile and its blank, no favorites etc. How can I check if he is genuine? Has anyone else experienced something similar?

Phew, I just finished setting up my shop, which I thought would be a pretty simple job. Then I realised I'm not so good at SEO. I know, I know, my shop is only a day old, but am I the only one out there that keeps refreshing my page every 30 seconds to check if there are any new visitors? Alas, I only have one (it's probably me). I guess it's true what they say, Rome wasn't built in a day. Is this normal? Any advice out there to make me the next millionaire? Dear Etsy UK sellers members/admins I need your help ASAP on this cancellation/refund mistake about a Shipped order. I didn't mean to refund buyer as he already have received the item. I have already reach out to Etsy help but no avail and even tried calling them at US but again no success. Impose more than £400 on this cancellation mistake Etsy should not process this transaction but my bank account was already debited. Hi, I was wondering if anyone has managed to get any sense from Etsy about Aftership? Etsy uses Aftership to track sent items, but apparently it doesn't work with Royal Mail. If you add Royal Mail tracking, Etsy doesn't update it. It looks like you are sending items that never arrive. My shop has been placed in a reserve because of this. Customer Support has told me that funds will be released to me when items are shown as being in transit according to Etsy. But because the site doesn't update Royal Mail tracking, the funds don't get released. To get paid I have to contact Etsy support and ask them to check the tracking on an external site. When I have queried this with Etsy support I get truly ridiculous responses like: try using a tracked service. I do use Royal Mail tracked services. Couriers like FedEx/Dpd are really expensive and Evri is unreliable. Telling UK sellers not to use Royal Mail is like telling sellers in the US not to use USPS. From other forums it seems that many UK sellers are being placed in reserve despite having excellent records. Meanwhile Etsy continues to trash their businesses because its own website doesn't work properly. There isn't a phone number for Etsy any longer and the Chat function has disappeared. If I contact Etsy support I receive cut and pasted responses that don't answer my queries in any way. I am beginning to think Etsy support is mostly bots. It is really concerning that there is a problem like this with the way the site works and that it is causing good sellers to be placed in reserve. And that there seems to be no way to get any sense out of Etsy about it.
