How do you put your items on Sale?

What ways do you put your items on sale in your etsy shop?

Do you create a selection for your sale items?

Put it in the title of the item?

Put it in the item description?

I make use of coupon codes but that applies to all items in the shop. I then promote the sale/ coupon code on my shop announcement, twitter, facebook and my blog. x

Okay. I may be brain dead but still can't figure out how to put things on sale even when I go to etsyonsale.com. There doesn't seem to be a place to add any items.

Also, what if I wanted to have a sale for everything in my shop. If I just post it in my shop announcement, would the discount automatically be figured out?

I've used Etsy on Sale but found that if someone pins my item, it stays forever on Pinterest with the Sale price on it.

Think I'll just use coupon codes from now on

You are right about etsyonsale.com..they do leave your items on sale even if the sales over!
Now I have to figure out coupon codes...wondering if its easy!?

I am not on boards much but trying to be better at it (have fibromyalgia so I'm too often in catch-up mode for my own shop)...but saw your post about coupon codes above. Have you figured it out? It's UBER EASY...but so is everything once you know how.

If you still need help, convo me and I'll tell yu what I know. I use them all the time!
