views from the find.com

Hey guys,

I got a few hits on my shop from thefind.com.....So I checked it out and apparently you can submit your shop to this website.

Just wondering if any of you have done that, and if so, what is your feedback?

Hmm.. I have not heard of that. I am interested in finding out more, too!

Apparently, your shop automatically shows up on it. I never submitted my shop but it's up there. Though it only shows some of my items, and some of them sold months ago but still seem as if you can purchase them (until you click on the photo and realize it sold).

I get hits from thefind.com all the time but never explored it until today.

Well, I just tried to sign up...It's very complicated and ended in me having to add a file to my page and some code...I DON'T THINK SO.

Too bad I gave them all the info that they had asked for before this step. The wanted page URLs for shipping policy, return policy, taxes, return policy etc. That's all I need is MORE work on the computer...Better that I spend my time on tags, photos and descriptions...lol

That's weird. I certainly would have remembered jumping through those sorts of hoops, and we can't place code on our shops anyway, yet Merry Maenad is on thefind. But yes, much better to spend time tweaking what we can control on Etsy. :)

TheFind.com is simply a collection of items found by crawling the web.

If you read the 'about' page
http://www.thefind.com/main/AboutUs.fhtml you will notice that you don't have to submit anything to be seen there.
